I have been working with concepts of collage, memory, space, and place. The digital content that I collect for my print work is derived from where I live and work, from buildings, and also assemblages and models that I build in my studio. My video installations are structures: walls or partitions with new spaces that are projected into them. Space and place for me posses a Proustian shifting from one into the other.

    I am interested in the act of building place, in observing or remembering how spaces become place. A room with a bed in it might be a bed room. Lying in the bed, the ceiling and wall spaces are revealed. Location and time alter space. I want my art to represent a kind of record of that experience.
